Anthony Ojiyovwi Obajuwana was born on Friday, the 25th of September, 1964, in Okpara Inland, Ethiope East LGA, Delta State, to Late Pa Willy Obajuwana and Mrs. Christiana Obajuwana. He was the firstborn among five children.
He attended Roman Catholic Primary School, now Ejaife Primary School, Okpara Inland, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1972. He proceeded to Ohwere Grammar School, Okpara Waterside, for his secondary education.


His quest for further studies took him to the then Obokun School of Advanced Studies for his HSC, followed by the Federal Polytechnic llaro, where he obtained his OND in Business Administration. He then moved to the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics in 1990. He later obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the National Open University of Nigeria in 2008.
He worked for a few years with the Nigerian Bottling Company immediately after his NYSC. He also worked with SC Johnson Nigeria Ltd between 1997 and 2007 as Sales Manager for the Western Region. He then joined the services of Nigerian Flour Mills as Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern and North- Central regions, where he later retired.
Born into the Catholic faith, he held on to it until his last breath. In his early walk with God, he served as a Mass Server and was a member of the choir at RCM, Okpara Inland. He was also deeply involved in church activities.
He married his beloved wife on July 24, 1999, and their union was blessed with lovely children. In his youth, he loved football, listening to soul music, and lawn tennis. In his later years, he enjoyed reading and traveling.
He is survived by his aged mother, wife, children, siblings, and other family members.
